The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered with advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. It also includes a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features comprise an extremely durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and minimized beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
