The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered with advanced technology, featuring a motorized trolley for enhanced reliability and performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that prevents release unless the motor is energized. Additional specifications comprise grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that logs lowering starts and hoist on-time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features consist of a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
