The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and incorporate a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include “The Guardian” smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter for recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, and a fan-cooled motor contributing to a cooler motor and brake. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smooth motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
