The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in routine situations and severe working environments. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases with motor energy, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, and low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother movement and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
