The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom solutions for both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes of the hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. Additional features comprise a count hour meter that records and showcases the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor contributing to cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords.
