The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom solutions suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake resulting from the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers which facilitate smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone a factory load test at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
