The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life; a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating, while the trolley features a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
