The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and feature a motorized trolley, delivering high quality and low headroom designs suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Each hoist is equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which includes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. Additional hoist attributes feature a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist operation time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design. The hoists also include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly with RoHS compliance, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is designed with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, ensuring smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate, verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
