The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and feature a motorized trolley, providing high quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that engages only when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolleys feature a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to facilitate smoother motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
