The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed with advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. Additionally, the hoist features a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
