The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a motorized trolley, delivering high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys capable of reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist is equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. Additionally, it includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that results in cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is designed with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming factory load testing to 125% of rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
