The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom while delivering reliable performance in various environments. The hoist includes several key features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. The trolley features include a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
