The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is engineered with advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, ensuring high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoist features "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. It also includes a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor. Other attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is built with a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
