The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington is designed with advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that perform reliably in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, an hour meter to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that ensure smoother trolley motion and reduce beam wear. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
