The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a motorized trolley, offering high-quality, low headroom, and full-featured solutions for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, it includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a robust and dependable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for enhanced trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
