The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for consistent performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoists include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, as well as low-profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate indicating it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
