The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a motorized trolley, offering high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance that is reliable in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. The hoist is equipped with a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and they exceed ASME H4 duty rating standards. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
