The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a motorized trolley and utilizes the latest technology, offering high quality and low headroom. These full-featured hoists and trolleys provide reliable daily performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake performance, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley is equipped with a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Additionally, all hoists are supplied with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
