The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The hoists come equipped with "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. Additional features include grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
