The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with automatic stop, ensuring precision and efficiency. They are equipped with high precision class 7 spindle bearings, large diameter chromed quill, and are constructed from rugged Meehanite® castings, providing exceptional stability. The internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, while the heavy-duty splined motor drive offers reliable performance. Additional attributes include a one piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways, and a precision ground table with adjustable gibs throughout. The internal coolant tank built into the base supports coolant systems (coolant pump not included), and a tolerance test sheet is provided for quality assurance. The kit includes a one shot lubrication system, way covers, draw bar, and a toolbox with tools, all backed by the industry-leading Jet two-year warranty.
