The JET variable speed milling machines, constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, provide consistent and reliable operation. This machine features precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts, along with a large diameter quill that is chromed. It is equipped with high precision class 7 spindle bearings and a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. The spindle head is internally cooled and features a heavy-duty splined motor drive. The machine includes a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, as well as a three-stage power downfeed with an automatic stop and a heavy-duty spindle brake. It has locks on all movable surfaces, precision hardened and ground ways and table, and adjustable gibs throughout. An internal coolant tank is built into the casting base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). A tolerance test sheet, one-shot lubrication system, way covers, draw bar, and a toolbox with tools are also included. The JET JTM-4VS series mills are available in both single or three-phase power configurations and come with a two-year full-service and parts warranty.
