The shredder features a 100% jam proof system that eliminates paper jams and efficiently handles tough jobs while offering SilentShred™ ultra-quiet performance suitable for shared workspaces. It incorporates patented SafeSense® technology, which halts shredding when hands come into contact with the paper opening. The energy savings system reduces energy consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional commercial shredders during normal usage. It shreds up to 20 sheets per pass into 5/32" x 1-1/2" cross-cut particles, achieving a security level of P-4. The continuous duty motor enables non-stop shredding, and it includes a 16-gallon bin and a 6-foot power cord, making it suitable for use by 3 to 5 users.
