This 1 1/2 inch reduced pressure zone assembly features an exclusive design that incorporates the patented air-in and water-out principle, providing protection against polluted water entering the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and/or backpressure, in compliance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. The compact modular design allows for easy maintenance and in-line repairs, and it can be installed either horizontally or vertically without the need for special tools. It is particularly suited for continuous pressure piping applications and for cross-connections identified as health hazards, as well as for safeguarding against contaminants at the service line entrance. The assembly includes a lead-free silicon bronze body, quarter turn ball valve shutoffs with lever handles, check modules, replaceable seats, top-mounted test cocks, and a pressure differential relief valve. Additionally, alert features can be enabled with an optional add-on sensor connection kit.
