BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for higher static pressure applications in factories, warehouses, and mills, effectively removing fume, smoke, or dust while providing reliable performance with minimal maintenance. The fans feature cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard, and they can be equipped with an explosion-proof motor for use in hazardous environments. Compared to belt-driven fans, these units offer more cubic feet per minute (CFM) per dollar spent and boast a lower maintenance profile. They are also lighter in weight than belt-driven alternatives, facilitating easier installation. The heavy-duty spun venturi panel is complemented by a rugged all-welded motor support structure, and the fans are suitable for both exhaust and intake air applications. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, an all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, a motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with birdscreen.
