BSC Preferred's™ Series Direct Drive Exhaust Fans are designed for high static pressure applications, making them ideal for use in factories, warehouses, and mills for fume, smoke, or dust removal. The fans feature cast aluminum spark-resistant propellers as standard, and they can be equipped with an explosion-proof motor for use in hazardous environments. They provide more CFM per dollar spent than belt-driven fans, require low maintenance, and have a lighter weight that facilitates installation compared to belt-driven units. The heavy-duty spun venturi panel and rugged all-welded motor support structure ensure durability, and the fans are available for both exhaust and intake air applications. Optional accessories include a fan and shutter mounting box, front and rear OSHA-compliant guards, all-aluminum gravity exhaust shutter, motorized exhaust or intake shutter, and a weatherhood with birdscreen.
