The Fork Mounted Rug Ram is designed to transport rolls of carpet effortlessly, featuring a 2" diameter high-strength, rotatable, and replaceable pole with a tapered tip. It is constructed from powder-coated steel and includes 7" wide by 2" fork pockets on 24" centers for easy attachment. A safety restraint is provided to secure the unit to the fork truck, which is finished in blue. The kit includes two rigid casters, two swivel casters, and two floor locks. It is important to ensure that the carpet roll does not hang over the end of the pole, and that the carpet rolls are loaded onto the pole with full contact against the mounting frame. Additionally, note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the fork truck for written approval regarding the use of any fork truck attachments.
