Cast iron worm gear reducers are available in center distances ranging from 1.33 to 3.25 inches and offer gear ratios from 5:1 to 60:1. The units feature a one-piece #FC20 all cast iron housing and NEMA motor quill style input flanges or shaft inputs, and they come pre-filled with synthetic oil. Each unit is backed by a 1-year warranty. Key attributes include tapered roller bearings on the input and output shafts, embedded double-lip oil seals, an anti-rust primer applied both inside and outside of the gearbox, and a special black paint that is air-dried.
