Cast iron worm gear reducers are available in center distances ranging from 1.33 to 3.25 inches with gear ratios from 5:1 to 60:1. The units feature a one-piece #FC20 all cast iron housing, accommodating NEMA motor quill style input flanges or shaft inputs. They come pre-filled with synthetic oil and are backed by a 1-year warranty. Key attributes include tapered roller bearings on both the input and output shafts, embedded double-lip oil seals, and an anti-rust primer applied inside and outside of the gearbox. The reducers are finished with a special air-dry black paint.
