The FR Evaporative Cooling Bandana incorporates activated polymers that provide cooling relief while ensuring flame-resistant (FR) protection. Constructed from a modacrylic cotton blend fabric, the bandana meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements with an Arc Thermal Protective Value (ATPV) rating of 7.1 cal/cm² and is classified as Category 1 (CAT1) per NFPA 70E. Additionally, it complies with ASTM F2302 standards for flame resistance. To activate the cooling properties, the bandana should be soaked in water for 2-5 minutes, allowing it to remain hydrated for up to 4 hours. Available colors include solid blue and Hi-Vis lime.
