The FR Evaporative Cooling Bandana utilizes activated polymers to provide cooling relief while offering flame-resistant protection. It is made from a modacrylic cotton blend fabric that meets ASTM F1506 performance requirements with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) rating of 7.1 cal/cm2, classified as Category 1 per NFPA 70E. The bandana also complies with ASTM F2302 standards for flame resistance. To activate the cooling properties, it should be soaked in water for 2 to 5 minutes, allowing it to remain hydrated for up to 4 hours. The bandana is available in solid blue and Hi-Vis lime colors.
