The 1 in. Stainless Steel Flanged Full Port Ball Valve is a two-piece direct mount valve designed for a maximum pressure of 300 psi. This ball valve utilizes a spherical disc to regulate flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. The flow is permitted when the opening of the disc aligns with the inlet and outlet of the valve, while it is blocked when the ball is swiveled 90 degrees, making the opening perpendicular to the valve's opening. This valve is classified as full port since the ball's hole matches the inner diameter of the connecting pipeline, which helps reduce friction. It is suitable for air, gas, liquid, and steam applications. The valve may feature a handle or lever to indicate the position of the ball for manual operation.
