The 3/4 in. stainless steel flanged full port ball valve is a 2-piece, direct mount design rated for 300 psi. This ball valve utilizes a spherical disc to manage the flow between pipes, tubes, or hoses. The flow is permitted when the hole in the ball-shaped disc aligns with the valve's inlet and outlet, and it is obstructed when the ball is rotated 90 degrees, making the hole perpendicular to the valve opening. The valve is categorized as full port because the hole's diameter matches the inner diameter of the connecting pipeline, which minimizes friction. In contrast, a reduced port valve has a hole that is one pipe size smaller, leading to reduced flow capacity.
