The 1-1/4 in. x 6 in. Lead Free Seamless Red Brass Pipe Nipple is designed for a maximum working pressure of 140 psi and adheres to Schedule 40 specifications. Constructed from seamless red brass pipe (Alloy 230), these nipples offer enhanced machinability, reduced brittleness, and superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, making them resistant to dezincification. They provide excellent protection against corrosion from water and heat while also resisting attacks from salt water, acids, and minerals, as well as peaty soils in water. This brass product is primarily intended for use in water applications within commercial plumbing and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) settings, and is suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
