The 2 in. x 4-1/2 in. lead-free seamless red brass pipe nipple is designed for a maximum pressure of 140 psi and is compliant with Schedule 40 standards. This product is manufactured from seamless red brass pipe, specifically alloy 230, which provides enhanced machinability, reduced brittleness, and superior corrosion resistance compared to yellow brass, effectively eliminating the risk of dezincification. The brass material offers excellent protection against corrosion from water and heat, as well as a strong resistance against saltwater and acidic environments, including minerals and peaty soils present in water. This pipe nipple is primarily utilized in commercial plumbing and OEM applications, while also being suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
