The 1-1/4 in. x 3-1/2 in. lead-free seamless red brass pipe nipple is designed to handle pressures up to 140 psi and is classified under schedule 40. Produced from seamless red brass pipe of alloy 230, this product is easier to machine, less brittle to work with, and significantly more resistant to corrosion compared to yellow brass, as it will not dezincify. The brass construction provides good corrosion resistance against water, heat, salt water, acids, minerals, and peaty soils contained in water, making it ideal for commercial plumbing and OEM applications, while also being suitable for use in oil, gas, and steam applications.
