The Zurn 38-ZW3870XLT 3/8 in. compression thermostatic mixing valve is a lead-free cast bronze, three-port device designed for installation at the point of use under sinks and sensor faucets, providing enhanced protection against scalding. This Aqua-Gard® valve features rapid response and precise temperature control, meeting the stringent ASSE 1070 standards suitable for fixtures, sinks, lavatories, or bathtubs. It effectively mixes hot and cold water to achieve a safe outlet temperature range of 95-115°F (35-46°C) with a hot supply temperature of up to 120-195°F (49-90.5°C) and a cold supply temperature of 40-75°F (4.4-23.8°C). The valve offers a set temperature accuracy of +/- 3°F (1.78°C) and is equipped with 3/8" compression fittings, making it suitable for both residential and commercial applications. It holds multiple certifications, including ASSE® listed 1070, CSA® certified, and is certified to NSF/ANSI 372 by IAPMO R&T, as well as being NSF® listed under standard 61, section 9, annex G.
