The unit includes a manual reset thermal overheat protector that disconnects power in the event of overheating due to accidental blockage. A built-in fan delay switch activates the fan motor only after the elements are heated, preventing the discharge of unheated air. The integral double-pole thermostat allows for easy adjustment of room temperature to maintain the desired comfort level, and it includes a positive off feature that ensures the heater will not operate when not needed. Each unit is equipped with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed fan motor, promoting long life, low maintenance, and gentle warmth distribution throughout the area.
