The 3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 763U includes 50 discs per roll, each measuring 8 inches in diameter with an NH ceramic 80 grit configuration. These discs provide toughness, high cut-rate, and flexibility required for aggressive woodworking, paint preparation, and metal finishing tasks, featuring a pressure sensitive adhesive backing for easy application to a compatible 3M™ Stikit™ disc pad and quick clean removal. The abrasive mineral blend combines aluminum oxide with 3M™ ceramic abrasive grain, a synthetic mineral engineered to fracture frequently for rapid cutting. The discs have a heavy paper backing suitable for abrasive-intensive applications such as paint stripping and stock removal, and are compatible with both rotary and random orbital tools in metalworking and woodworking environments. The Stikit discs require pressing onto a backup pad (disc pad sold separately) attached to a rotary disc sander or random orbital sander. The roll format eliminates liners and allows easy tearing of individual discs. The ceramic abrasive grain, made by a proprietary 3M process, enhances toughness and hardness, making the ceramic/aluminum oxide blend abrasive harder and longer-lasting than standard aluminum oxide abrasives. This blend is suitable for moderate to heavy stock removal, fast cutting, and handling intense heat and stress, outperforming pure aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability.
