The 3M™ Stikit™ cloth disc roll 341D measures 6" in diameter and features NH aluminum oxide with a grit size of 36, containing 100 discs per roll. These adhesive-backed discs are specifically designed for heavy-duty applications requiring a robust cloth backing, such as heavy stock removal on wood, metal, composites, and solid surfaces. The discs have a heavy X-weight cloth backing combined with a resin bond to extend disc life under high heat and pressure, utilizing fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain for continuous cutting and long-lasting performance across various substrates. Aluminum oxide is chosen for its fast cut-rate, durability, and self-fracturing property that reveals fresh cutting edges, making it suitable for grinding, sanding, and finishing on materials including ferrous alloys. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the disc's backside allows quick attachment and removal from a 3M Stikit backup pad, facilitating easy grade changes and a clean pad surface with each disc change. The Stikit discs are compatible with 3M Stikit backup pads, sold separately, for use with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders.
