The 3M™ Stikit™ cloth disc roll 341D features 8" diameter aluminum oxide abrasive discs with an 80 grit rating, containing 50 discs per roll. These adhesive-backed discs are designed for rough operations requiring a heavy cloth backing, such as heavy stock removal on wood, metal, composites, and solid surface materials. The discs have a heavy, X-weight cloth backing combined with a resin bond to prolong disc life in high heat and high pressure applications, while the fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain offers fast continuous cut and long-life performance on many substrates. The Stikit backing adheres easily to the backup pad and removes cleanly for quick grade changes. Aluminum oxide is chosen for its durability and self-fracturing properties, providing fresh cutting edges and superior performance over traditional abrasives. These discs are suitable for woodworking and metalworking applications, including ferrous alloys. Each disc is ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating that simplifies attachment to a 3M Stikit backup pad (disc pad), which is sold separately, and can be used with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders. The Stikit discs eliminate the need for a liner and allow convenient tearing off of individual discs.
