3M™ Stikit™ paper D/F disc roll 236U measures 5" in diameter with a NH (non-hole) configuration and features aluminum oxide abrasive with a P150 grit size, containing 100 discs per roll. This roll provides a versatile adhesive-backed disc for easy attachment to 3M™ Stikit™ backup pads (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners. The discs have a strong C-weight paper backing that resists wear during aggressive sanding. Their open-coat construction and load-resistant coating help prevent clogging, maximizing cut efficiency and disc life. Suitable for sanding and finishing on paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass, these discs are designed for use with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders when paired with compatible backup pads. The aluminum oxide abrasive is valued for its fast cut-rate, long life, toughness, and the self-fracturing property that maintains cutting edges better than traditional natural abrasives, making it ideal for woodworking, metalworking, and grinding applications, including on ferrous alloys. The pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows discs to press on and remove cleanly, leaving the backing pad uncontaminated for subsequent discs.
