The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Paper D/F Disc Roll 216U features 5" diameter discs made with open coat aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight A-weight paper backing, designed for use with a random orbital sander. Each roll contains 125 discs with a grit of P120, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows quick attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately) without liners, enabling easy disc changes and clean removal without contamination. The open coat and load-resistant coating reduce loading from wood or paint dust, extending disc life, and providing a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grit. These discs are suited for general sanding and finishing applications on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. Ideal for AOEM finish preparation, repair, and defect leveling, the discs are applicable in industries such as AOEM and marine. The product is designed to be used exclusively with a Stikit backup pad attached to a random orbital sander.
