The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold paper disc roll 216U features 6" x NH aluminum oxide abrasive discs with a P100 grit rating, containing 125 discs per roll. These discs are designed for use with a random orbital sander and a Stikit backup pad (sold separately), incorporating a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick attachment and clean removal. The discs use long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive grains on a lightweight paper backing, suitable for lightweight sanding and finishing on substrates such as paint, primer, wood, metal, plastic, and composites including fiberglass. The open coat and load-resistant coating prevent loading by allowing dust and debris to collect in spaces between abrasive grains, resulting in a longer service life and more aggressive cutting compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. These discs are applicable for AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect repair and leveling, and orbital sanding, serving industries including AOEM. The product complies with relevant specifications for general sanding and finishing and is designed to maintain consistent performance while facilitating workflow efficiency.
