The 3M™ Stikit™ paper disc roll 426U measures 6 inches in diameter with a NH (non-hole) configuration and features a silicon carbide abrasive rated at 240 grit. Each roll contains 175 discs, designed for high-production environments and ideal for applications such as white wood sanding, sealer sanding, solid surface finishing, and other tasks where a fine finish is critical. The disc uses a load-resistant coating and open coat abrasives to minimize loading by spacing abrasive grains to allow dust and debris to collect between them, enhancing cutting performance and longevity. Silicon carbide abrasive is chosen for its fast cutting and smoother finish compared to aluminum oxide or garnet, making it effective for hard wood and solid surface finishing. The disc is constructed with A-weight light paper and a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing, allowing flexibility with backup pads and flow over contours for consistent finishes.
