The 3M™ Stikit™ Paper D/F Disc Roll 236U measures 6 inches in diameter and features aluminum oxide abrasive with a P100 grit rating, offering 100 discs per roll. This paper disc roll includes a strong, C-weight paper backing designed to resist wear during aggressive sanding. It is coated with a load-resistant, open-coat construction to help prevent clogging, maximize cutting efficiency, and extend disc life. The discs come with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing for quick and easy attachment to a 3M™ Stikit™ backup pad (sold separately), eliminating the need for disc liners and allowing for clean removal without surface contamination. This product is suitable for sanding and finishing a wide range of materials such as paint, primer, softwood, metal, plastic, hard and soft composites, and fiberglass. The aluminum oxide abrasive is noted for its fast cut rate, hardness, and durability due to its self-fracturing property that exposes fresh cutting edges, making it ideal for woodworking, metalworking, and grinding applications, including work on ferrous alloys.
