The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Disc Roll 255L 5" x NH features aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing, providing a fast cut-rate and uniform, close-tolerance finish on wood, paint prep, and defect repair applications. The roll includes 125 discs, each measuring 5 inches in diameter, with a P500 grit size. The discs are constructed of durable aluminum oxide suitable for most wood species and incorporate an open coat design for a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. A special loading-resistant coating enhances performance where loading is an issue. The flexible film backing offers greater tear-resistance and consistent finish quality compared to similar paper-backed products, making the discs well-suited for high-production environments.
