The 3M™ Trisect™ Finesse-IT™ film disc roll 466LA measures 3" in diameter, features NH silicon carbide abrasive mineral with an A5 grade, and includes 500 film-backed discs per roll. It utilizes proprietary 3M micro replication technology where micron-graded silicon carbide particles are formed into tiny abrasive pyramids on a non-compressible polyester backing, ensuring that as these pyramids wear, fresh sharp mineral is continuously exposed, providing consistent cut and a predictable fine finish. Available in three grades—A3, A5, and A7—these discs accommodate various topcoats and finishing process requirements. Each disc allows quick attachment to rotary tools or orbital sanders, starting sharp and maintaining sharpness for extended durability, lasting up to five times longer than conventional discs. The discs offer precise finish control, enabling operators to reduce grade sequences and process steps. Three-dimensional abrasive structures are uniformly distributed over the entire surface to ensure consistent performance and eliminate disc-to-disc variation.
