The 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Disc Roll 255L features aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a flexible film backing measuring 5" in diameter with a NH attachment, and a grit size of P240, with 125 discs per roll. Constructed with durable aluminum oxide, it is suitable for most wood species and provides a fast cut rate and uniform, close-tolerance finish for wood, paint preparation, and defect repair applications. The open coat design delivers a more aggressive cut than closed coat abrasives of the same grade, while a special loading resistant coating helps prevent clogging. The flexible film backing ensures consistent finish quality and offers greater tear resistance compared to paper-backed products, making it ideal for high-production environments. Applications include AOEM finish preparation and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and primary wood and panel processing.
