The 3M™ Stikit™ cloth disc roll 341D includes 100 adhesive-backed aluminum oxide discs, each measuring 6 inches in diameter with a P180 grit specification, designed for heavy-duty operations requiring a strong cloth backing such as heavy stock removal on wood, metal, composites, and solid surface materials. These discs feature a heavy x-weight cloth backing combined with a resin bond that extends disc life in high heat and high pressure conditions. The fast-cutting aluminum oxide grain offers continuous fast cutting and long-life performance on many substrates, including ferrous alloys. The pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside allows easy attachment to and removal from the 3M Stikit backup pad (sold separately), facilitating quick grade changes without residue. The aluminum oxide mineral is selected for its tough, durable abrasive properties that self-fracture to expose fresh cutting edges, enhancing performance in grinding, sanding, and finishing applications across woodworking and metalworking tasks. The disc roll format provides the convenience of tearing off individual discs without a liner. These discs are intended for use with 3M Stikit backup pads attached to disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders. Applications include blending, deburring, flat area sanding, grinding, orbital sanding, and random orbital sanding in metal fabrication and primary wood processes.
