The 3M™ Stikit™ Paper D/F Disc Roll 426U measures 5" in diameter with a NH hole configuration and features silicon carbide abrasive graded at 120 grit, with 125 discs per roll. This roll contains multiple sanding discs designed for high-production environments and is ideal for white wood sanding, sealer sanding, and solid surface applications where a fine finish is critical. The disc incorporates silicon carbide abrasive with a load-resistant coating and an open coat abrasive pattern to minimize loading from dust and debris. Constructed with a-weight light paper and a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing, the disc flexes with the backup pad to conform over contours and provides secure adhesion for quick and easy changes during multi-step sanding and finishing processes. These discs are compatible with rotary and random orbital sanders and are suited for general sanding, finishing, blending, surface leveling, bare wood sanding, and prep prior to staining or painting. Silicon carbide is a fast-cutting synthetic mineral that produces a smoother finish than aluminum oxide or garnet abrasives, making it effective on hardwoods and solid surfaces; although it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it yields superior finish quality. The open coat construction spaces abrasive grains to reduce loading and allows for a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grit.
